As Bare knuckle fighting grows in popularity, so does it’s fan base. Social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter feeds are flooded with fighting content from across the globe. Demand and consumption of combat sports is high, allowing organizations like Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) to step in and fill the void.

As the sport and the organization (BKFC) continues to evolve, fans of combat sports are energized by the appearance of MMA legends like UFC title contender Thiago Alves and UFC & Bellator middle-weight veteran Hector Lombard. An effort to draw new fans, BKFC has recently signed a huge deal with former UFC fighter Paige VanZant. The 26 year old fighter has scored an alleged 4 fight - 1 Million dollar deal with BKFC. Fights have not been scheduled for Paige VanZant, but stay tuned and follow us on Instagram @KnuckleKnockots for updates on fighters, events, and news. The Superstar has appeared on TV shows like Chopped and Dancing with the Stars, but she has dropped it all for bare knuckle fighting. If that wasn’t a big move by the organization to draw new fans, check the size of the next guy. WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley has expressed his interest in fighting inside the ring, and has confirmed conversations with BKFC and the potential for a chance to “Toe the Line”. WWE fans should be very excited about this.
Despite the big names, the sport and organization still relies on amateur and up and coming fighters to develop the organization and depth of fighters. Do you have what it takes to “Toe the Line”? The UFC currently recruits fighters through the Ultimate Fighter, Dana White Contender Series. It seems like BKFC plans to host a tryout for fighters to generate new contracts of its own. Expect a reality show pilot of some sort, with footage of new and exciting fighters from all over the world.
